Jeannie Bush (aka AJ Wolff)

I wish I lived in Calif. I would love to come to the reunion, but since I am retired it feels like to much of an expense. I really don't know anyone in the area. 35 years ago my parents moved to the south east. Eight years ago I moved to the south east to help with my mother who died of Alzheimer's five years ago. What have I done for the last 45 years. I married in 1970 and divorced in 1977. I went to San Jose State and got a degree in Art. I have taught art in high school for many years in South Calif. until the cut programs then I taught Special Ed.  I went back to college for a Masters in Art Education and taught in Florida, which is where I retired from when they cut the art programs. I was 61 at the time. I have been very active in the Unitarian Universalist Church and been involved in a variety of social actions. To name a few of the major events: I marched on Washington, DC for women's rights, gay rights, and  anti-war protests. I've been an exhibiting artist over the years with art work in permanent collection in Washington, DC, Women's Art Museum and private collections. Currently my artwork is creating peace poles. Website: www.peacepoleartist.com.  I currently live in North Georgia Mountains in a small town where my parents retired to from Atlanta. I miss California, but with the high housing costs most likely will not return there to live.

I wish everyone well.   Joy, AJ (aka, Jeannie Bush)

P.S. Changed my name years ago because of the art worlds preference for male artists....entering shows as AJ they didn't know if I was male or female. It has been my true and legal name now for the last 30 plus years.
